Our Client, international automotive manufacturer is looking for a person for the vacancy - Application Engineer (air-supplied disc brakes) to work in Germany.

Tasks:

- Coordination within the framework of rebuilds and installation tests;

- Carrying out feasibility studies in the context of new developments;

- Creation of concept decisions, taking account of costs, deadlines and content;

- Communication with the global company internal Applikationssatelliten;

- Service life assessments referred to in box profiles / development of market-specific load profiles;

- Functional / requirement folder comparisons in the context of new developments;

- Organization of vehicle calculations / system designs;

- Presentation for customers and suppliers;

- Participation in team-related FMEA's (S-FMEA).

Requirements:

- University degree in mechanical engineering, vehicle construction, or similar;

- At least 3 - 5 years of professional experience (work);

- Constructive interpretation of air operated disc brakes;

- Constructive experience in casting forging or fine blanked parts;

- Knowledge in VA / VE, FMEA, FEM and CAD (Pro-E 3D);

- Good knowledge of German (min. communicative level);

- Good knowledge of English or other foreign languages such as Spanish or Portuguese;

- Good knowledge of MS Office;

- Team and communication skills.
