You will be member of QA group - working for this team will challenge you to use your technical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills to "find problems fast" in a variety of financial software systems. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Quality Engineer who understands highly technical project requirements and applies the most efficient methods in test automation and exploratory testing.
There will be opportunities for you to build your own tools and design test-automation systems from the ground up. You should be articulate and able to communicate with technical and non-technical people.
 
Main responsibilities of QA Engineer are: designing and executing test cases, developing test automation scripts, participating in creation of test frameworks, translating high-level business requirements into test scenarios and test cases, working closely with software developers, business analysts, and other QA team members to analyze test results and proactively work to resolve any issues, setuping and maintaining test environments.

The ideal candidate is highly technical, who has a meticulous attention to detail, loves software and technical tools, has experience in testing or software development (or has lots of technical aptitude and is a quick learner), and who has an interest in financial data. Candidate has also college degree in Computer Science or equivalent and minimum 2 years of testing / software development experience, experience with scripting languages and test automation a definite plus, experience writing SQL queries, good understanding of software testing methodologies and concepts, exposure to some of the following technologies and tools: C++, C#, Java, Python, Web Services (SOAP), XML, MS Visual Studio, Databases (MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle), Excel, bug tracking and test-case tracking software, any experience with industrial grade testing environments (QTP, HP Load Runner, Selenium, etc) would be useful.
