For our Client, global information agency, the world’s leading source of intelligent information for businesses and professionals, we are searching for Specialist Web Automation Support Consultant.
 

We are looking for a self-driven, experienced and competent individual to join the small team as a Specialist Web Automation Support Consultant in Poland, reporting to the UK-based Product Manager. The role requires a mix of technical, analytical, admin and interpersonal skills to be applied to a variety of activities in the following typical areas, as required:
Environment Architecture and Configuration Management; Systems and Applications Administration, Configuration, Maintenance, Monitoring and Support, End User Training, Administration and Support, Project Consultancy and Solutions Integration, Rapid Solution Prototyping and Feasibility Assessments, Quality Assurance and Defect Resolution, including escalations to appropriate SW Vendors, Miscellaneous Extensions, Utilities and Add-ons, Technical, Project and User Documentation, Ongoing Vendor Relationship and Compliance with License Agreement terms, Evaluation and on-boarding of relevant new Technology and Applications, Internal Demos, Marketing, Promotion and Communication activities,  Aspects of Project Management and Administration, Interfacing and Liaison with various Technical Operations Teams.

The ideal candidate will have a good (3 years min.) degree-level qualification /certificate in a science, computing or engineering discipline from a recognized learning institution, with at least 3 years relevant, demonstrable work experience in a function such as Software Development, Technical Architecture, Technical Consultancy, Systems Engineering or a role similarly likely to have equipped the candidate with the relevant breath and depth of skills and level of self confidence.
Specialist Web Automation Support Consultant has an experience in: HTTP Protocol, HTML, DHTML & DOM, JavaScript, XML, Internet Explorer 6 or higher, SQL Programming (intermediate), Microsoft Windows Server 2003 or later, Microsoft IIS 6 or later, Web Applications based on Microsoft .NET, Microsoft ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server 2000 or later (2005 and 2008 preferred), Regular Expressions, Scripting/Programming with at least one of: VBScript, C#, VB.NET, Perl, Microsoft Excel VBA, good understanding of client/server applications and architectures, good appreciation of Performance, Scalability and Reliability concepts, good understanding of networks concepts and terminology, layers and common protocols, character encodings, Unicode, good understanding on how Web Services and SOAP work, Basic Probabilities and Statistics, Good understanding of Computing Hardware terminology, components and behavior.
